Are you ready for some footie?

worldcup2006logo.jpgNot that you needed reminding, but the World Cup kicks off in about four hours. That means you have less than four hours to join Shanghaiist's World Cup Challenge -- it's free and it should be fun. (There are 37 entries so far. It is our opinion that "Shanghai Cooperation Organization" would be a great name for an entry ... and it's still available ... although it may be too many letters ... find out for yourself!)

If you don't plan on leaving the house for the tournament (and your satellite is on the blink ... again) our friends at What's On Xiamen have posted the entire CCTV coverage schedule. (CCTV expects 10 billion people to tune in.) Also, Virtual China explores some options for watching the World Cup live online.
